The Thomas Corn System is a complete corn cutter table for making cream-style corn (with an optional whole kernel attachment for an additional $59.95).
Operating Instructions:
Place the corn cutter on top of a waste can.
Adjust knife to the correct level, on top of pad by turning wingnut. Lock into place with top wing nut.
Cut-off each end of the corn ear. Then place corn into the Cob Installation Bin with the largest end facing up.
Place cob screw into variable sppe drill. Drill must have both forward and reverse.
Screw cob screw into center of corn cob. This will loosen corn shucks.
Place corn in Desilker-Husker Bin with drill rapidly spinning. Corn shucks will automatically deposit in waste can.
To remove corn silk press corn against silk brush. Corn should be spinning 2,000 RPM. Move corn up and down.
Next insert corn spinning fast into the Creamer Assembly. This will free the corn from the cob. When corn is completely down in the cylinder take out and remove cob.
Whole Kernel Instructions: Insert corn spinning slowly into the Whole Kernel Assembly while gently pressing handle. When corn is completely down in the cylinder take out and remove cob.
To remove cob from cob screw reverse drill and place cob into the Cob Removal Bin. Wedge cob against points and slowly spin in reverse. Then ut drill back in forward motion.
After process is complete proceed with you own method of blanching if desired.
Your skill will improve after completing several ears of corn. Don't rush. Watch video 3-4 times.
