Electric Mr. Pea Sheller Splined Gears Advantage
The splined rollers are superior to the big smooth rollers of bigger pea shellers.
"Spline" means the rollers are like intermeshed gears that provide
extra torque as they flex and "feel" the size of
the pea hull to automatically adjust for optimal hulling. In fact, the
Electric Mr. Pea Sheller is so confident of splining that the gears spacing is
fixed and cannot be
adjusted. It must work because the Electric Mr. Pea Sheller has been made
since 1976!
Electric Mr. Pea Sheller w/ On/Off Switch
Now the Electric Mr. Pea Sheller comes with an on/off switch. This is one feature
I was glad to see and a
pleasant surprise. The wooden Electric Mr. Pea Sheller had to be
unplugged. The aluminum Electric Mr. Pea Sheller motor is fan-cooled and
fully encased to prevent burns.

Every year the manufacturer runs out of Electric Mr. Pea Shellers. This year I expect demand to far exceed supply again,
